Sailing Lessons

Sailing opens a whole new world of fresh air, sunshine and freedom. Sail our award-winning Colgate 26 sailboats – so lively and easy to learn on we guarantee you’ll be back for more.

Our two-hour sailing lessons are tailored to your sailing level and desires. Take the helm, trim the sails, relax and believe in your newfound ability to sail.

Your instructor is the best in the business - US SAILING certified and tested to Offshore’s higher standards. Your on-water classroom is the Colgate 26 -- the best training boat there is and the choice of the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Maine Maritime Academy, United Kingdom Sailing Academy, Eckerd College and other discriminating schools and institutions around the world.

The tuition for a group sailing lesson is $75 per hour, per person, minimum two hours. Sailing lessons require a minimum of two participants per boat (maximum of four participants) plus an instructor.

Private lessons (just you and your instructor) are also available at $150 per hour, minimum two hours. In a private lesson, your instructor will work with you on any aspect of sailing you like.

Sailing lessons are offered by appointment, subject to availability.
